Quote the build card number inside the housing. For fixtures older than 2006, the model name and an approximate year is usually enough.
Answering these means the reply contains a recommendation rather than a request for more information.
We will send a fixture on loan for two weeks to any house seriously considering a rig change, in Europe, without charge. Hang it, run it against what you have, and send it back. Half the frameworks we hold started as a loan fixture that nobody wanted to return.
If you have a Fresnelle from the eighties or nineties and need a part, write in with what you can read off the housing. We have build records back to 1987 on paper and 1994 on file, and the answer is more often yes than people expect.
